The converted farmhouse, authentically renovated whilst retaining its rustic charm, welcomed me with warmth and tranquility. Rianne de Wit, the gracious host, provided invaluable insights into local amenities and transport options, adding a personal touch to my stay.The ample en-suite room, housed within a converted barn, exuded a sense of history with its original milking stall layout and earthenware tiled floors. The comfort of the bed was unparalleled, facilitating a restful night's sleep after a day of exploration. The location, though peacefully rural on the outskirts of Maastricht, was conveniently connected to the city center by a nearby bus stop, ensuring ease of travel. The charming setting, comfortable accommodations, and personalized service make it a prudent choice for discerning travelers looking for a budget-friendly yet authentic Dutch experience.
